I just noticed something the other day, and can't believe I didn't see it before. The indicating light in the upper right corner of the hydrophone console is never 'lit'. Seems to me I remember a white light that was either lit or off depending on whether or not the hydrophne was operating back in SH2 days. Is it just me, or is it the same for everyone? Have any of the interior mods modified this light to be lit?

I don't think it works in SH3, I know it works in SH4, but I've never seen the light on in SH3.

I've yet to see it working in SH3 but there may be a mod out there I'm unaware of that fixes this anomaly.

I'm not even looking for it to be functional. I'd be OK with in 'on' all the time, since I'm not usually hanging around the hydrophone room unless I'm submerged anyway.

This can be done. I made indicator for radio in my XXI. It works simmilar like indicators in DD OH mod, so this is DD patent, not mine. Controller for switch of or on of this light depending on depth. It is posible to do something simmilar for sonar but when the radio or the sonar is destroyed then indicator will still work because controller of light, as I said before base on depth. I don't discovered other solution, maybe someone else can do this
