Hi folks, i wonder if anyone can help me with a problem on SH3?
Ive installed SH3 & GWX 3 on my laptop and on my home PC for my son to play, now im trying to create a LAN game between both systems but when I create the LAN game on one system the other does not pick it up in the "Join Game" option the game ive created is not showing up. Both systems run the game and GWX 3.0 with no problems as seperate systems. Any advice on this would be much appreciated

The first, and most obvious, question would be if you have all the correct ports properly forwarded on both systems?
If you're using a router, make sure the SH3 ports are forwarded there. Should each system also make use of a software firewall, such as Windows Firewall that's built into the OS, have you allowed exceptions for sh3.exe? Are you using SH3 Commander to start the game? You'll need to also add exceptions for SH3Cmdr.exe and SH3CTSR.exe. It would help if you could specify what OS is running on each computer as well as any details on the router, if you have a software firewall and what kind, as well as your TCP/IP settings. For LAN hosting it's typically best if you assign a static IP address to the host computer, rather than having the router to assign one dynamically.
