Default balky mouse movement.

Hi all. Just logged on for this forum to mainly work with SoF and use the name Vlaba on the SH4 forum.

I installed the U-Boote Kurs West a few days ago and began working with this sim again. I had the ATI black sky problem and the patch worked great, I do have one issue with the mouse. In view mode, and most telling at the machine gun station, there is a delay in response when the mouse is moved. Not like a slow frame rate blockyness, but a pause before it moves from stationary. As long as you keep moving it's OK, but as soon as you stop the pause will occur when you move again. Anybody else have this? Not that bad unless your aiming the machine gun.

Default Mouse Issue

No problem here. I also have ATI so that alone is probably not the issue. I have no suggestion, sorry.

Thanks for responding. This is the only game/program I have that has any mouse foibles. I'll try setting up a more basic mouse and see what happens. This sim seems to be the most DOS like windows game I've ever played in that it wants all the system's attention, so maybe a simpler mouse is called for.

Edit from later:
Tried that and it maybe helped. What's really the problem is the mouse sensitivity gets halved. You have to move it twice as far or more for the same screen movement I have in the game menus. Very wierd to play air hockey with the mouse.
