[REQ] Random assignments?

Is there anyway for someone to come up with a mod that randomly assigns your command to you much like in SH1? Just a simple pick what part of the war you want to start from and the mod picks where you are stationed and what sub you are to command. Nothing else, it helps players discover boats they normally wouldn't pick.

I don't think a mod like that is going to come along anytime soon. You could try rolling some dice and letting that determine your starting sub, etc...
