Hi.
I am trying to integrate this into my NYGM v2.6B install. I have followed the ReadMe very closely, but I get this problem on Mission load: Cannot find Menu ID 0x3F1C0007 Now this is the Gyrocompass. Section has been added to ..\Menu\cfg\Dials.cfg etc etc. Checked three times now. Any thoughts? I am also getting a transparent rectangle just above the messages section at the bottom of the screen. Appears in all views including external. When you slide down the bottom console this rectangle stays there rather than disappears like the others. Last edited by matttm; 02-15-2008 at 07:38 PM. |

I just re-installed it on top of my GWX yesterday, and had no problems.
Did you number it correctly? Mine is [Dial153]

Oops. I'm sorry, I misread the 'l' for another '1'. Mine is [Dial58], and it reads exactly like yours.
The stock file only goes to 43. Compared with my original setup, the extra files seem to be for the slide-out Chief's report guages. [edit] I just installed the periscope TDC slideouts, and now my compassfdbk file is #68 also. I'll be starting it up and hoping for the best now. Next is U-jagd.

Yes it is. After I put in the periscope slideouts mod I started getting crashes as well. I found my problem was in the numbering of the many files in the menu.ini. It took four tries and about as many hours to finally get the game to load, and now I'm trying to track down why I have two large slideout compasses instead of one, and why I have the TDC tools slide out but none of them work.
Matttm, all I can suggest is keep going over it until it works; or else dump the whole thing and re-install. I may be doing that soon, but then I'm busy testing things and don't have a career going right now, so it won't cost me anything but time. Best of luck.
