Question A Few Questions

I recently downloaded Silent Hunter 4, after playing Silent Hunter 3 for a long time. I downloaded it from Direct 2 Drive and the only available patch that it was showing, 1.1. I enjoy playing SH4, but I get a hell of a lot of CTD's.

The computer that I am using is:
Dual 3.0 Ghz
ATI X1600 256MB
2GB RAM

I was wondering if anyone knew if there were more patches for the downloaded version, and also if there were any known conflicts for mods with this current version, 1.1?

I too have the D2D download version. You can get the 1.4 patch. It seems to me that the patch works on all versions of the game. ie.... dvd vs. download. Unlike SH3.

Modders are still working on getting everything set for the 1.4 patch. I know Trigger Maru is 1.4 compatible, as are RSRDC, and NSM.

Check the mods forum for more info.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply Slang Downloaded the 1.4 patch and installed it, I like the upgrades such as topedo doors opening when clicked on, instead of which ever door you happened to have targeted when SH4 got around to opening the torpedo doors. The arrow for crush depth is nice, the trial and error days are gone :P
