Talking [REQ] SHIV (& SHIII) Mod for changing Starting point

Hi

I hope noone minds, but as a noob, I thought I'd carry over a post I made in another thread and post it here as a request:

Could someone change the starting point for each misson in SHIV to be in the middle of the Philippine Sea?

And also the mission starting point in SHIII to be just west of the west Irish coast?

If this mod was seperately enabled / disabled from the (am I right) JSGME application then it wouldn't upset those hard core people who like all that Transiting on TC, but make it more 'accessible' for those like me who play at 100% but don't have time for a mission with all that transit to / fro?

Thank you for taking the time to read this request.

I like that idea very much. While I play with a good deal of realism, I got pretty burned out on SHIII when trying to worm my way from port to open water every time I began a patrol. Back in SH 2, they would automatically start you out fairly close to where your patrol was gonna be, so you could get to the action a bit quicker.

II was hoping that SHIV would have that as an option as a realism setting, but alas.... Too bad I don't know much about modding.
