Default Regular flight time for IL-2 subsim squad.

I was thinking if we could get a pretty regular flight time. With the wife and kids back I can't really fly during the week but a friday or saturday night would be good.

Also dying to try out the latest incarnations of the bomber intercept missions.

As Hunter usually hosts the game, it's ~21-22 GMT.

Well lets see for tonight (as I got my day of tommorow but have to work sunday morning) I could host tonight IF people are up too...

So get your beerstash out

I got the following mission to host for tonight:

the Subsim Special Bomber Interception Day/Night
the Kartos Slugfest (get a P40 or F4F and take on 40 escorted IJN bombers)
and maybe if I get some time this afternoon I could create my speciality
Suicidal Night Bomber mission where you are a B25 in the middle of some B24's and B17's

you see soon that your escorts are leaving you to RTB as they are low on fuel but the BF109's are very fresh and the flak guns on the ground of the germans city just have been polished :rotfl:

and if I,m crazy enought I could only make 1 B25 flyable
so all of us have to jump in 1 B25 , 1 as pilot the rest...are the gunners
could be fun

Blaaah, night bombing missions sucks! You cant see crap thru the bombsight (well, you can, if there's a crap shaped cloud below you or if you have a 100000x zoom in your sight, you might even see Hitler taking his morning crap). And pleeeeeeeease, no more unlimited ammo bombing missions! They just suckity suck! Learn to use the sights! It's like scoring your first kill with 100% manual targeting in SHIII. That being said, if you make a 1 B25 mission, I want to be the bombardier!! PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME!!!

I have to work tomorrows, but what the heck. I go buy me a 6pack and get on TS tonight.

Dowly, who said I,m going to make it easy

you would be surprised that you even MANAGE to look throught the bombsight...you will be to busy keeping your eye out for enganging 109's
feck...I put some 110's in too!

btw...IRL...they missed the target anyway...its just about bombing the city...and I will put so much crap in the way...that the chance is high that you hit at least something...

If I,m correct there is a model of a transportable Toillet...shall I put it in the center of the town and put in the briefing hitler is taking a crap after eating frogbutts and will be on the toillet for a while

Well, also IRL there wouldnt have been a bombing mission if the target was unvisible. Oh and if the target was an factory, railroad etc. they sure didnt just drop the bombs, they aimed them accurate and if had to, circled over the target a few times to hit it. Why risk your life just to go and drop them bombs anywhere.
