Default Decks Awash

Anyone knows how to activate this? What depth is it?

Decks awash = running the sub with only the conning tower above the water. Makes it harder to be spotted.

There was at least one mod that did this - can't remember it's name so you'll have to search through the mods forum.

As I remember there was a problem however, because if you ran at decks awash the game thought you were underwater and the hatch wouldn't open. This meant that you had to surface to dive , which kinda destroys the stealth aspect.

This may have been fixed.

Just be advised that such a tactic will likely have a dramatic effect on your battery range and overall speed, as you are going to have all kinds of hydrodynamic drag.

Seems problematic. I usually submerge at 20m until my torps load then pericope depth and attack. Works good so far.
