Just disable
Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1 (available by date) V9 by sober and start a new campaign..
As for renown, you should/can manually edit the file
Ammunition.upc and
UpgradePacks.upc.. just open them using Notepad and further all is simply..
