Sub Command was great game but DW improves many mechanism because it uses improved engine. For example in SC submarines makes turns like train on rails - in DW try to set 2 kts speed during making turns from flank speed

You will lose control of your boat.

Today nobody play SC because DW "make it better". RA mod have cnoverted missions and campaigns from SC and 688 H/K.

Even if you play mainly submarines you just cant sink surf player and vice versa. This means that you can forget about fascinating MP sessions, about really good things in DW. Playing against AI sooner or later will be boring.

SC is still very good game and i recommend this title if you like to check all games from series. Make sure you play these games in the right order: from 688 H/K -> Sub Command -> Dangerous waters.
