Seriously, i wear the oldest and ugliest boots, which i usually hate. Mostly older ugly running boots made of plastics and deteriorating faster than the Boot can dive.
If you do a lot by hand, like working with concrete or rocks i do not want to abrade (?) leather boots, unless
they are very old. Had some pairs of Bundeswehr boots but it seems they are not made for (really) heavy duty
