Default Yeah Baby!

Thanks Lzs von swe. Currently on third mission. Bagged a escort carrier and some destroyers already. And currently shadowing a large convoy that I already hit up for a large tanker and two large cargo's with tanks and aircraft, after I took out the black swan lead escort and then a fiji class light cruiser... :-)
Yeah Tessa, I also had no prob's with the DD version I downloaded on my old computer, but of course I was running Win XP Professional on it.
Airwolf, I could be wrong, but sounds like to me that your DVD player may have crapped out on you even though the simple diagnostic in windows is telling you it is up to date and working properly. Even if it tells you that, it is only checking/able to check certain aspects of the the DVD drive. Have you used a cleaner disk to clean your DVD drive? Also check your connections to the drive and from the drive to your motherboard. Don't know how new or old your computer is, but drives can go belly up a day or two after you start using them, or 5-10 years down the road. Just the nature of electronics. I had one go out after about two years and I bought an external USB DVD/R+RW (LiteOn model) from NewEgg.Com for $78 on special with free shipping. Take it out of the box and hook up/in the USB cable and it installs itself, no muss, no fuss. if you let me know your computer specs, might be able to help you out more... :hmm:
