I don't know if it is just because I have progressed further in the game (currently at June 1943) or because of the new patch, but those pesky Germans are kicking my butt now. Single torpedo hit to my Capital Ship and down she goes. Single v-bomb to my carrier and bloop, to the bottom! German subs have air superiority evidently, because almost every encounter begins with me losing a DD to a bombing run. After combing the seas with three Capital Ships looking for German BBs, I finally found the Tirpiz...after of course, all three of mine were sunk to torpedoes. Now I see German BBs every turn practically. Ugh! At least it's challenging.
