Was that at around the time that they were filming Memphis Belle? If so I was there too. It is indeed an amazing sight and just the sound of those engines alone is enough to bring a massive lump to my throat.

Whilst working with Sally B I was lucky enough to meet quite a few veterans,including R.R. Stanford-Tuck and his mate (honest)Adolf Galland.
Also I got to fly on a lot of really neat aircraft.

I see Sally B in the air at least once a year(although every year it's getting harder for them to fly her) but I've not seen her on the ground for a while.

Such a lovely plane.
