you don't understand ,
there is no doubt about the magnifications.
someone would expect that an object should look x1,5 bigger at an x1,5 magnification....
...but german's scopes were made that way so ,at x1,5 magnification, the object had its actual size ( i am suspecting that ,
maybe,they wanted that way to enlarge even more the fov of scope, but... i haven't found any clue for this 'why' searching the net)
