This mod contains the settings for an additional custom-made emblem. All you need to do is replacing the custom emblem coming with the mod with your one. SH5 emblems need to be in tga or dds format, and they use an alpha channel for opacity sorting.
My suggestion for you is enabling this mod (not compatible with TWoS though), or alternatively just replacing one of the stock emblems with your one. Alternatively you could tweak upc files for adding any new emblem, but it takes a bit longer
