ok, cool. i am very conversant with Silent3ditor.
what i needed was the file where the values are hidden.
so, AI_Visual_Sensors.Dat is the place and Escort Visual is the node, yes?

so if i am reading this correctly, the visual parms for a DD are from 0 to 180 degrees which is a semi-circle. at least it was when i was in the USN. so why are we seeing a full circle? rhetorical question. so confusing!
