The Showtime cable channel did an almost scene for scene remake of
Sahara some years back, with Jim Belushi in the Bogart role. To my surprise, it too used an M3 Lee. I thought at the time they'd most likely use a Sherman.
Another movie with good tank action is
Kelly's Heroes, with Clint Eastwood. Shermans vs. a railway depot, and Shermans vs. Tigers; but in a realistic way. It's one of my favorites.
