sure, it has design characteristics which are meant to increase its chances of surviving a direct hit by a torpedo - chiefly the parallel pressure hulls - but i seriously doubt the Typhoon could survive two direct hits... certainly not a third, and obviously not 5 and a harpoon missile strike.
I have never taken one out with less than 4 hits personally.
though the survivability of the platform has never been tested in combat, there is no denying it would be a tough nut to crack... but i dont think 5 ADCAPs and a missile tough

I agree. The Typhoons were designed to survive multiple hits by lightweight torpedoes like the Mk. 46, or maybe a near miss by a -48. A direct hit by a Mk. 48 is going to be pretty catastrophic to any undersea vessel. The crew in adjacent compartments might have a better chance of short term survival or successfully completing an emergency blow, but that is probably about it. Best that could be hoped for would probably be a total mission kill, with the sub stuck on the surface and being towed back to port.
