First of all, watch these vids by stoianm which will teach you how to navigate using real nav. It's no good if you can't get where you want to go

Also the in-game Trevally tutorials included with this mod are invaluable practical lessons for everything you want to know.
It will take some time to learn, but the experience is well worth it as you can now play SH5 very realistically and it is a far cry from what you played last time. Wait till you get that satisfaction when it all comes together and you torpedo your first ship without any help from the arcade-like UI that was in stock game!!
