Thank you all. Flight sims are my thing but they appear to taking a back seat as I navigate the Kiel Canal! Professional and complete the mod is and SHIII will outlast many a sim.
A question on the dashed circles surrounding the map contacts. What do they represent? Baffles, gun range? Also, on returning to harbour I find many ships (it seems to be mainly warships) not on the bottom in harbour but floating with decks awash and making "I'm sinking" noises (creaking, tearing metal). Is this also an offshoot of the 'saving within 50 km of harbour and then resuming' vanilla SHIII bug?
