I think that this has demanded more patience from you than me as I don't need to do all that installing, uninstalling, loading, waiting, hoping and nope, it didn't work this time either routine

There's no guarantees, because of the nature of this mod is such that only by manually editing menu_1072_768.ini one can feel reasonably sure it'll work.
