I got the 8600.
I know the 9x series is better but I know that I will atleast get COD4 out of this one. And on top of that I will get very good FSX performance.
Also it is less important overall because I am finding that Amazon can get me a slew of fun older games. (I am about to get MS Train sim and Trainz collection) for very cheap. Meaning MUCH less need to shell out 50 dollars for a game that will last a week or 2.
Also on top of that I am about to ditch Comcast cable and go with Direct TV. And I have atleast 2 weeks of tinkering around to get this computer back to DVR ability (Have to get an IR blaster, Minimum ATI 650 or named ATI 550 with audio input)
The 8600 will play WoW just fine which is the most important aspect. I am happy to say I have pre-ordered the new Expansion!
