they had some trouble translating the model in .obj hence the partly missing tower..

Thanks to Miner1436 we were offered a high resolution 3d model of the I-19 from Flagman Models at : http://flagman-models.com/catalogue.php?lang=EN

now analysing the model....

The hull looks nice with sunk in waterholes and sonar array details, very nice stern and bow tubes too, the tower didn't look any more detailed than mine though, less so I'd think, so the hull might be a go.
