I for one love the idea of grouping the stickies together.
I think either of the proposed methods mentioned would work, and I love the idea of an "Essential Resources" sticky. Certainly my single document about one file, while very useful if one happens to be looking for information, doesn't really need its own thread. No idea how that would be implemented, but I'll leave that up to Hitman.
