Seems like it's not just you. Reallydeadpoet was complaining about issues with the game earlier.
Odd, in my case (AMD 4600+, 2GB RAM, GF8600GTS) it runs without too much trouble. A little jerky sometimes, but nothing serious. Certainly not spoiling my experience with it any.
