i concur with what fifi says.
areas 4, 6, 7 are always ripe with shipping. also the convoy college. also the path from tokyo to truk and guam.
study the historical shipping lanes map and then go get them.
as pointed out in the past, you will not see regular, large, escorted convoys as in the atlantic....3-4 ships or singles was the norm for the IJN.
