Thanks for the recommendations. I will look into Wings over Vietnam - having played a lot of SH3/GWX I know how much mods can add to a game. The Wings over Israel also sounds interesting. It's surprising to me that there doesn't seem to be an F4 sim? Or better yet, a Vietnam-era sim with multiple flyable aircraft, considering how many different ones were active at the time and all the different missions they could have..
[edit] Ah, it looks like that's kind of what W/Vietnam is.. The article mentions a "vastly enhanced and rewritten version for the Vista platform called
Strike Fighters 2:Vietnam" released last year. I'm going to look for some reviews on that, anyone familiar with it? The fact that it wasn't mentioned makes me suspect it's lacking.
