Actually I might say the same thing about The Enemy Below…

I saw this a million times as a kid, and it recently came to the top of my LoveFilm rental list. I watched it last weekend with my girlfriend and I must say I was pretty dissappointed about how hammy and camp it seems now. Mind you I had just watched Das Boot the week before in its original uncut 10 hour format in German with German subtitles, so anything after that was going to be a let down.
