It would be great to have this wrapped in the patcher!
PS: Not to take away from an amazing piece of work: could we have a noob mode for the patcher that activates all of Sjizzle's recommendations per
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=205620, or another noob friendly author recommended loadout without the extensive clicking. For example, I decided not to disable battery charging when surfacing but I don't know if this will break something else.
PPS: Could we have the patcher search in the first selected directory for the files to patch, because when your directory is D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Silent Hunter 5\ and there are 282 items in D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\, it's fairly intensive to click to this for each of the files to be patched. An address bar would also be great for copy-paste.
