1.6 was bundled into 1.7 for the PS3. 1.7 is currently in submission to SCE QA. No time frame given but provided doesn't break PS3 OS files, it will be passed QA within 1 week. As we know, 1.7 is required for Dawnguard.
However, I do share your fears regards PS3 performance, Beth DLC on PS3 does not have a good record for being 'optimised'.
I actually loaded up my PS3 version for my little girl to play, it's 170 hours in with a 14mb save file and after 5 mins, it's like watching a slideshow. There's no denying it, we got the ****ty end of the stick........again.
