So I am trying to add depth charges to the medium and small gunboats in TMO RSRD. I have classified them as Type 0 Patrol craft, they function again. The Japanese used vessels such as this for coastal patrol and escort. The medium gunboat is a dead ringer for the Karatsu (ex USS Luzon) which sunk the USS Cisco in September 1943. I have their SNS files updated so they get sonar later in war, have hydrophones in late 42. They will hunt subs, but need depth charges.

Question is how to add them? In the .EQP file I added depth charge rack as W01 but they dont drop. I'm a bit lost in all of this.
