After that, the Cuban Navy was interested in simulators, and I designed a Harpoon style strategic and tactical system, first for the Navy, and later all branches wanted it, and was included air and ground forces aswell, was programmed in C for Windows 2.11 (1989)

That was the last mod I did for a game, was tired and hungry, I left the Armed Forces at mid 90s, later I left Cuba for good!
That's so interesting! You designed a sim for the navy? I'm guessing you won't have the source code for that - as you mentioned taking floppy disks outside was impossible. You said you haven't modded a game, but have you been coding still, since you left?

I have to admit I find the Sega Mega Drive really fascinating, never knew about it before.
I didn't realise there were so many Dos related programs, and addons for DosBox. Kinda keep it simple when I use DosBox in case I break something lol.

The Mega Drive is amazing. It was HUGE in Europe, especially the UK, so it's kinda inevitable that I grew up being a Sega fan boy. Taking off the nostalgia goggles though, the SNES was the better system all round, but the Mega Drive/Genesis had some brilliant games, and music! I'm working on my next video, which looks at the licensed game of that old Nick show - Aaaahh!! Real Monsters. If you liked what I brought to sub sim genre, and you're interested in learning more about the Mega Drive, I'd love to see what you think of my future videos.

I just wanted to say thanks again to this community. My video is nearly at 500 views - and I honestly couldn't have reached that without the support of this website.
