Well I do think the explosions make them "Deaf" for a certain time period, as just as the run does, but the 45 second disturbance on the other hand doesn't happen.
Speaking of doesn't, (Sorry this is OT but just sparked my interest), is it me, or does doesn't seem like a useless abbreviation, especially in writing. I mean all you do is cut out a space and turn a O into a dash... sorry
