I like to set my attack scope at the firing bearing (firing ballistically using trigonometry). Rather than move my attack scope off that bearing, I pull it down and pop up my observation scope to look around.

The attack scope is finicky and getting it set to a half degree can be a frustrating experience. Once I get it set, I want to leave it alone until trigger time.

Observation scope is supposedly easier for the enemy to spot so use sparingly.
