I pre-ordered SH4 the very day it became available for pre-ordering here in Finland. I also updated my computer just to be SH4-ready.
I agree that the issues discussed here need to be solved; having been disappointed with the bugs I uninstalled the game, choosing to wait for a working version.
Since I like to play with full realism, but don't have the hours required, checking and testing all the mods just to make the game functions properly is unfortunately not the thing for me.
The game has great potential, though. Kinda takes me back to the (very) old times when I just had to have a Commodore 64 to play the legendary Silent Service
