The "game" is more of a simulation research tool for a DARPA contract. It is not a "game" in the traditional sense. The easiest way to get a high score is to obtain HF Sonar lock as soon as possible and maintain it as long as possible. The score drops over time to simulate fuel consumption, so it is important to lock up the SSK (A stripped-down Kilo Improved from Dangerous Waters) and maintain the lock for the hour stipulated in the missions. The GATOR's HF array is ludicrously overpowered and it is impossible for the SSK to escape from it. Sonalysts flat out posted here a while back that they have more than enough GATOR data and do not want anymore.

From my own experience, the simulation has some core flaws, considering Sonalysts' apparent goals in the simulation. Most of these are apparent if one attempts multiplayer mode.
