There were also some confirmed corrupted GWX host mirror files circulating. Where did the OP get these GWX files from?
Check with MD5Mate first. If an error is found I suggest a download from a Jimbuna mirror, they are good.

Hi the "menue" quote would have been a type error by me. I'm in the UK.
I downloaded gw3 from the jimbuna site 1st the whole install via the torrent and then because that failed I downloaded the multi part files again from jimbuna. With the same results.
I will check the files after work using the MD5 file.
I'll also try and download the files from Lehmans site.
It's just so frustrating as SH3 takes a bloody age to install
