I'd like the GWX-style radio contacts (only black squares with no tails) without having to install GWX.

I tried deleting DashLine.tga and ContLine.tga (and their .dds counterparts) but all I got were black contact squares with appropriately colored tails depending on what the current war standing of the contact. I'm not super good at this modding stuff.

I looked at all 3 of my mods and nothing in them should "override" whatever I did.

Any ideas?
