A Journeys' End?
Well, my girlfriend is suffering because of cancer since 13 years now.
I have been taken care of her 24 / 7 for more than two years now.
She went to hospital today once again. There is not much left to do for her now, despite of easing her pain.
We used to be aware of the consequences the cancer is going to have. We were trying to enjoy life as much and as long as possible.
I am the one to pull the plug in the nearest future now, nobody can prevent me from that. It's a matter of ethics, you know.
I am sitting here, there is nothing left I could do to save her from what is inevitable.
