I'd say if it's done professionally, by a professional* body spray company, then yes. If it's you and/or your mate who's got a can of matt black from Halfords, then definately not. Ever.
An option I'd recommend is body-wrapping (not to be confused with body-popping
), in my previous life as a domestic appliance engineer we had
our vans done by Totally Dynamic in Bradford (more over UK now), it's not cheap but I think it's better than a respray (don't even have to inform DVLA).
