I don't think there is anyway to have the game assign two grids to patrol.
However, you could do it manually in the same way SH3 commander does. By editing the patrols_0.cfg found in the Careers folder in My Documents > SH3, where the next patrol grid is listed, it might be possible to add a second grid assignment.
However, doing this manually will get old very quickly.
There is certainly no way to have the game award you for visting the second grid. However, that may not matter.:hmm:
