A nice mission would be the intercept of Admiral Yamamota via the Lightnings and a subsequent recovery of crews...
Perhaps the Sub could be asked to remain surfaced at a specific point and get a few rounds off on the tranports carrying the admiral before the interceptors ( who flew a long way) finish the aircraft and bring him down... MAybe the sub could wipe out some escorts or other possible scenario's to make it interesting and blend hstory with fact...
