A Carrot, however, is a much more complex Being. For example, Carrots were yellow or black or purple from the days of the ancient Egyptians until the Dutch bred the hybrid Orange version we know and love today. In that regard, the sunset picture with its subtly changing skies from purplish overhead to orange on the horizon could well have been intended as a visual metaphor for the History of the Carrot. One never knows unless one asks...and there is no such thing as a stupid question. .....usually.
Perhaps I should have told you that my english teacher was convinced that a carrot is a symbol for the penis as well. Since then we use to say that sometimes a carrot is just a carrot.

I hate carrots.
