Thanks SeaWolf but I think i've solved it.

I uninstalled/reinstalled SH3 patched to 1.4b (thats all I seem to do these days, bloody installs!), then removed the silly StarForce thingy, then downloaded an older ResFix (not the LSH3 one), then activated MEPv3 with absolutely no other mods....and that worked!

Now i'm going to try it with WAC 4.1 and then LSH3v5

What I would like to do is use LSH3v5 with WAC4.1 campaign and SubPens. I really dont see the case for seperate WAC and LSH3 mods....maybe i'm missing something
