You need uplay more for single player campaign to progress but sometimes it seems to not work properly. If you use vpn like tunngle for multiplayer you need no uplay. There are options in TDW Generic Patcher to disable uplay

Perfect, thanks again Echolot! That's exactly the info I was looking for. OK so I just placed my order for SH5 PC DVD from a seller on Amazon. Reasonably priced at $3.99, but $8.88 with shipping.

Now the hard part is waiting for this bug ridden game to show up on my doorstep! Hurry up!

Sounds like SH5 can be pretty nice though once the best mods and fixes are applied. I'm mainly looking to see some of the better graphics over SH3 and SH4 which I've already played a lot over the years. Well thought this might compliment them anyway.
