No, the Greens, the eco-religious. Dismantling more oil and coal powerplants than could be replaced, trusting that always a wind blows and always the sun shines, no sufficient capacities of backup powerplants that could cope with shoprtcuts in supply from renewables, all that vtechnology, like you just diod, being dmeonised and declared "evil", or "nerdy". Germany is described by quite some insiders as the main cause now for shortages and emergency situaiton in the powersupply in most pof Europe and especially our neighbours, especially Austria hates Grmany for that, becaaue all these neighbours must pushz their own supply schemes over the limit whenever the Germans call for help and call for emergency imports when German electricity production cannot handle the demand anymore.

In the past it was the other way around.

The German energy policy is, as policies always seem to be in Germany, driven by lobbied ideologies and beliefs, not by sober facts. And thats why this damn, many times cursed thing called "the German way" once again collides and cracks open on the hard ground of reality. This time in the name of anti-nuclear, anti-coal, anti-gas. Result: Germany now is the black centre of growing instability in the whole continental electricity supply network. From the very top to the very bottom. antastic achievment, Germany. Fantastic. And its so - so green!

Not to mention that many of our neighbours now run nuclear even more. In powerplants that are more unsafe in parts than the Germans ever were.

Supergreen!
