I have tried the game in C. No difference and not sound. The sound come only back with the recorded Switch Scenes, for example, from the Guadalcanal theater of operations, new assigned to the Aleutians.
The game is still playable, but the difficulty is by the antisubmarine tasks; no hydropones and no sonar ping to hear. That´s pity.
