The Royal Hunt of The Sun.
A rich, visually beautiful movie. Great actors all of them. Authentic costumes and locations.
It's a clever reworking of the Pizarro "story". I won't give too much away, but Pizarro has a lot of doubts and strongly identifies with his prisoner.
Also a music tribute to the film, which I feel is appropriate here to further whet your appetite. I'm sure everyone knows the historical story.
